| Joy
McKenzie, best-selling author, journalist, TV presenter and entrepreneur,
has an extensive background in networking. She has hosted hundreds
of events over the years from business networking events to Award
Ceremonies, notably 'idea', the International Design Eco Awards,
the unprecedented exciting Annual Award programme, established to
reward and promote ecological design and innovation worldwide.
Nominated
for an EFBWO Young Entrepreneur Award, Joy leads the way and has
successfully integrated theory with practice, creatively conceptualising
and directing new ideas. She is often head-hunted for her particular
expertise in 'strategic thinking', essentially to customise concepts,
methods and processes which create a clear focus and direction for
businesses.
Her more recent
activities have included hosting a series of high-powered 'Business
Breakfast' events at the Blue Bird Club in Chelsea. In July 2002,
Carole Stone, London's Networking Queen, nominated Joy for the New
Statesman's 'Networker of The Year Award'. Joy was featured in a
special article - 'The Best of Young British' which celebrated the
nation's most promising young (under 35) achievers.
